Practice Lead, Inclusion & Accessibility

As Wheelhouse Group’s Inclusion and Accessibility Practice Lead, Josh is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Josh has a 20+ year proven track record leading successful public programs by building partnerships, momentum and teams to support big goals. He has experience in training, conflict resolution, non-profit leadership, group facilitation and change management.

Josh serves as Project Director for the Partnership on Inclusive Apprenticeship (PIA), after several successful years of directing our work at the Partnership on Employment and Accessible Technology (PEAT). In both roles he has worked to increase the employment of people with disabilities.

Prior to his role at Wheelhouse Group, Josh worked at Deloitte Consulting, leading change management, technology and human capital initiatives at multiple federal agencies. Josh was a lead author of the report “Opening the Federal Talent Economy.” Josh also served as a Career Program Manager for The Posse Foundation, a college access program focused on equity and inclusion. The Posse Foundation continues to hire Josh to help design and facilitate their national discussions regarding issues of equity in the United States.

What I love about Inclusion and Accessibility
I love being able to provide free resources and support to leaders in search of inclusive talent solutions. This means I get to help contribute to our country’s economic recovery while building the inclusive workplace of the future.

Our team is fast, flexible and adaptive. We are always listening to the evolving needs of our clients to effectively co-design the right strategy or system to address their needs.

FUN FACT

I have four brothers and every year I hike a small section of the Appalachian Trail with one of them. I’m hoping to hike the whole trail with my son in a few years.
