Welcome to Stories of Change hosted by Wheelhouse Group.

[Animation Description: Hand drawn words “Stories of Change” appear in a yellow at the top of the screen while a Wheelhouse Group logo is displayed at the bottom of the screen. It includes the name of the company and the outline of a bow of a ship, both in dark blue, and the steering wheel of a boat in burnt orange]

This video from shows a person’s hands in the act of drawing a series of illustrations depicting a diverse group of superheroes. Stylized text is used throughout to emphasize the words of the narrator.

[Animation Description: The words spoken by the narrator appear on the screen in blue, business like font]

We made it through 2020. We met obstacles we never saw coming and been confronted with heartbreaking realities we know can’t be tackled alone.

[Animation Description: The narrator moves his hand across the screen, drawing a picture of a 2020 calendar and checking days off with a marker. He then draws the silhouettes of two superheroes with orange capes: a standing figure of a man with his hands on his hips and a seated woman in a wheelchair reaching her hand toward the viewer.]

But, we have hope.

[Animation Description: Fade in to display the word “Hope” in dark blue text.]

In 2020 we saw remarkable stories of resilience, adaptability, and innovation. And we are energized by the steps many of you have taken towards inclusion.

[Animation Description: The narrator moves his hand across the screen, drawing a picture of an open comic book with empty word bubbles. The word “Wow” appears at the bottom of the left-hand page. Yellow lines point out like rays of sun from the top of the book. The narrator begins to draw stylized text. He writes the words “Resilience” in purple marker, surrounding it with a teal word bubble; “Adaptability” in red marker, surrounding it with a yellow word bubble; and “Innovation” in blue marker, surrounding it with a blank word bubble outlined in gray. The narrator then draws the word “Inclusion” in orange to intersect with the word “Innovation.”]

We want to build on this momentum so– we are launching a project called Stories of Change. We want to help document and share your stories of resilience.

[Animation Description: The narrator draws the words “Stores of Change” in yellow marker. Under the words he redraws the image of the comic book from the previous scene.]

Tell the world about the changes you’ve made to persist.

You and your teams have built new muscles. We want to work together to strengthen them, and help build a community of leaders ready to create a better future.

[Animation Description: The narrator draws the two superheroes from the beginning of the video: a woman in a wheelchair with her arm raised in a power pose and a standing man with his hands on his hips. Both wear orange capes. He then draws pictures of four different arms, hands all facing toward the superheroes in the middle of the screen. At the top left of the screen is a purple arm with an open palm; at the top right is a green arm with a yellow open palm; at the bottom left is a red arm with the handing making a thumbs up gesture; and, at the bottom right is a robot arm with its hand making the OK sign.]

We’re hoping you will take a few minutes to answer two questions:

What did you learn about change last year? And what are you excited to tackle this year?

[Animation Description: The narrator draws an image of a female superhero wearing a brown suit with a teal “C” on her chest. The superhero points to the top of the orange cape she is wearing. The narrator writes the words “Help Us Answer Two Questions” at the top of the cape. Inside the cape he writes two questions: 1) What did you learn about change last year? 2) What are you excited to tackle this year?]

We’ll gather your words in the coming weeks. And find the common themes and new truths that will help us all improve our impact.

[Animation Description: The narrator draws a scene against a light blue background of a male superhero wearing glasses, a blue striped tie, black slacks, and an orange cape. With an outstretched arm, he holds a yellow mail bag collecting a wave of envelopes falling from the sky. The narrator draws three speech bubbles at the bottom right of the screen with the following text: 1) We will gather these stories; 2) Find themes; 3) Discover new truths for impact.

Finding ways we can become superheroes for change.

[Animation Description: The narrator draws a woman seated in a wheelchair with red hair and a magenta shirt. He also draws a female superhero in a purple shirt with teal pants and a black cape. The woman in the black cape holds up a sign that reads “Superheroes for Change.” The woman in the wheelchair points to the sign. Her hand is surrounded by a yellow star-like image to indicate her power.

And now for the fun part… we will invite you to join us. We’ll come together to share our stories as a community.

[Animation Description: At the top of the screen are the words “Join Us” in orange marker, with smaller text underneath with the words “in sharing your stories of change!” The narrator draws a hand holding a marker that points to a series of statements. From left to right: a yellow square with the words “How Did You Show Up” in black marker; a yellow, star-like shape with the words “Amazing Tales” in black marker; and the words “You Did This!” with “You” written in white lettering on a black circle and “Did This!” in orange lettering on a blank background.]

Discuss what we can learn from each other. And explore how we can all be better drivers of change.

[Animation Description: The narrator draws the silhouettes of four superheroes surrounding the image of the comic book depicted in earlier scenes. From left to right, the superheroes include a standing man wearing a cape with his hands on his hips, a standing woman with her hands on her hips, a woman in a wheelchair with her hands in her lap, and a standing superhero giving a thumbs up gesture. The comic book appears in the middle of the screen. The word “Wow” appears at the bottom left corner of the book in yellow text against a red speech bubble. A red question mark appears in the middle of the righthand page. A yellow arrow with a red outline appears at the bottom right of the screen.]

We hope you will join us on this journey by sharing your stories at wheelhousegroup.com/storiesofchange.

[Animation Description: The text on the screen, written in yellow marker, says “Stories of Change.” The open comic book depicted in earlier scenes sits at the bottom left of the screen. The narrator writes out the name of the website for the campaign in black marker: wheelhousegroup.com/storiesofchange]
